A new affordable housing development is coming to Owyhee with funding secured by Hunt Capital Partners in collaboration with the Duck Valley Housing Authority. Duck Valley Phase II will offer 24 new single-family homes on a 12-acre parcel. The $14.4 million project includes $5.77 million in financing from Federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit equity and $112,025 in Solar Investment Tax Credit equity.
Government Corridor - Hunt Capital Partners announced the closing of $6.15 million in low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) equity financing for the renovation of 34 detached single-family and duplex homes spread across 31 buildings on scattered sites.
Krisana Apartments, which is scheduled for completion next April, will cost $44 million. Hunt Capital Partners — a division of investment company Hunt Companies Inc. — secured funding through federal tax credits and bank loans.

The total development cost for Lukin’s Landing is $12.8 million. Hunt Capital Partners syndicated the federal tax credits through its multi-investor funds, Hunt Capital Partners Tax Credit Funds 37 and 41. Carrollton Bank provided an $8.3 million construction loan and a $1.2 million permanent loan. The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago provided a $900,000 Affordable Housing Program construction to permanent loan.
Lukin's Landing - Central Illinois Services and Windsor Development Group plan to rehabilitate the community and set aside 12 units for households with disabilities or those who are prone to homelessness.
The Kentro Group and Lexton McDermott broke ground on the Krisana Apartments located on the former Colorado Department of Transportation headquarters site in Denver’s Virginia Village neighborhood. The complex features 151 units of affordable housing. The groundbreaking comes on the heels of a new ordinance that requires developers who are constructing new projects of 10 or more units to make eight to 12% of the units as affordable housing.
