Kate Chavez
Senior Director, Investor Relations
Kate Chavez joined Hunt Capital Partners as Senior Director, Investor Relations, in October 2025. In her role, she focuses on fostering and expanding HCP's proprietary and multi-investor relationships.
Ms. Chavez brings over 20 years of experience in the housing credit industry, including 14 years at a nationally recognized non-profit tax credit syndication firm where she raised equity and managed relationships with financial institutions investing in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) funds. Her prior experience includes underwriting housing credit transactions as well as providing financial services to technology companies.
Ms. Chavez holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Real Estate Development from Portland State University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
