Mr. Weiss is President of Hunt Capital Partners. Mr. Weiss has specialized in affordable housing for over 20 years with a focus on raising equity and structuring project partnership agreements with multiple layers of debt. He is responsible for all tax credit syndication activities of the company and is a member of the Credit Committee and executive management. From 1996 to 2003, Mr. Weiss served as a guest lecturer at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy for the Dollinger Master of Real Estate Development Program where he instructed graduate students in real estate finance, feasibility analysis and affordable housing. Mr. Weiss received a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Finance from San Diego State University, a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California, and a Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law. Mr. Weiss is admitted to practice law in the State of California.

Mr. Mayo is the Executive Managing Director of Hunt Capital Partners. Mr. Mayo has specialized in affordable multifamily housing finance for over 20 years, focusing on structuring tax credit equity and debt transactions. Mr. Mayo’s considerable experience also includes developing credit and debt structures for tax-exempt and taxable financed tax credit properties, coordinating and monitoring activities relating to the tax-exempt financing process, and underwriting, structuring and insuring multifamily securitizations. He is responsible for all tax credit origination and project management activities of the company and is a member of the Credit Committee and executive management. Mr. Mayo received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Math from Skidmore College and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Denver University.

Dan Kagey, CPA

Mr. Kagey is the CFO of Hunt Capital Partners, and has specialized in affordable multifamily housing finance since 2004. Mr. Kagey has extensive experience in financial accounting and reporting at all levels of the LIHTC business, ranging from property partnerships and funds to corporate syndication and asset management. Mr. Kagey’s experience also includes corporate M&A activity both in acquisitions and divestitures. He is responsible for all aspects of the Company’s accounting, reporting, and financial planning and analysis. Mr. Kagey serves as a member of the Company’s Credit Committee and executive management. Mr. Kagey is a licensed CPA in the states of Virginia and Colorado, and a member of the AICPA. He is a graduate of Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting.
Ms. Smith has specialized in affordable housing since 2005 with a focus on investor reporting and analysis of portfolio performance. Ms. Smith is responsible for investor communication, fiduciary management and portfolio/asset management of Hunt Capital Partners’ Tax Credit portfolio. Ms. Smith is a graduate of Pepperdine University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

Mr. Wise has an extensive background in commercial real estate, including over 30 years of investing in and structuring and underwriting investments in low income housing and historic tax credits. Mr. Wise is responsible for the firm’s multi-investor and single-investor syndication platforms, working with investors, attorneys, accountants and other third-party consultants in structuring tax credit investments and monitoring the performance of the property investments and tax credit funds. Mr. Wise was a founding member of the Affordable Housing Investors Council and was a Council Member from 1995 to 2002. Mr. Wise received a Juris Doctor from New York Law School where he was a Solomon Scholar, a member of the Law Review and graduated cum laude. Mr. Wise received a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Massachusetts at Boston.

Mr. Gronemeyer has specialized in multifamily affordable housing for over 15 years, with a focus on underwriting, market analysis and property operations as well as portfolio and single asset due diligence. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gronemeyer was the Director of Business Analysis for a Boston based non-profit LIHTC developer. Prior to that position, Mr. Gronemeyer was a Vice President within the investment valuation group of a Boston based LIHTC syndicator. Mr. Gronemeyer received a Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master of Business Administration and Master of Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver. Mr. Gronemeyer is a Massachusetts licensed real estate broker and a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP).
